Luna was adopted at the age of four by the human's maternal grandparents. However, as was expected, they soon realized they couldn't take proper care of her and wanted to return her. Instead, she came to live with the human in the summer of 2024. Before that, the human and his mother used to visit her often to make sure she was doing well, and Luna was always grateful for the attention. Nothing is known about her life before the shelter.
Luna is affectionate and loving, with a special obsession for the human's mother, whom she follows everywhere.
She's also very intelligent—she already knew how to sit and give her paw when she was adopted. Her expressive eyes make it easy to understand what she wants.
She's wonderful to sleep next to, as she loves cuddles and snores softly, but she's also playful and full of energy. She gets zoomies when off-leash and is tireless when chasing sticks or balls. And, of course, she adores food—her appetite knows no limits..
"Hello human, hello dog, let's run, let's eat, let's bark"
She quickly learned that Chany doesn't like being climbed on—he bit her ear in the early days—so now they share a mild rivalry, though they tolerate each other and get along better outside. Mika is more like her grandfather: she enjoys lying next to him and gives him the occasional lick. She also spent a few weeks living with the human's sister's dog, and the two were practically girlfriends.
Luna barks at anything within a 20-meter radius—not aggressively, but in an attempt to interact with dogs or people—which can be intimidating. She ignores commands to stop barking. She’s also terrified of fireworks, firecrackers, and similar sounds, to the point of trembling with fear.
